We all have moments in our lives that we would like to forget. An awkward date, drinking too much at a party and falling in love with the wrong person. Sometimes we imagine that person as being better than they turn out to be, and that is what happened to Presley.

Presley was a shy, chubby college student who was trying to find her place in the world of academia and in the social hierarchy of the college party scene. She was embarrassed by a cocky fraternity brother and she vowed to never let anyone take advantage of her again. She became one of the richest CEO’s in the country and she has a close knit group of friends who are always there for her. She believed she could achieve anything in life with nothing holding her back. Presley was shocked to learn that Nolan was back in town which made her think about that fateful night with disgust and anger. There must be some way to give him a taste of his own medicine. Revenge may be sweet, but what if it makes you feel less of yourself instead of how you thought it would make you feel?

Does Presley really want to trick Nolan into falling in love with her or does the whole situation make her feel uncomfortable? What will she really gain by deceiving him?
Sometimes seeking closure results in new beginnings, so perhaps she needs to hear his side of the story.

Once again Jennifer Probst has blessed us with a touching story that will become one of our favorites. She spins a tale of romance, unrequited love and forgiveness which touched my heart and made me always wish for a happy ending.

Fabulous read, as anything that Jennifer writes.
I ordered this book because I have enjoyed all of the books I've read that are written by Jennifer Probst. So, I didn't hesitate. This book, however, fell a little short of my expectations. The fact that a successful, professional billionaire woman and her business partners would go to such childish lengths for revenge was a bit difficult for me to grasp. I was not able to feel like I knew the characters in the book like I have in so many other novels she has written. This won't, however, stop me from reading more of her future books. Maybe this was just an anomaly.
I don't know how my review could do this book justice. There were so many feels I don't know where to start and be spoiler free. Presley is a strong, smart, savvy and sexy woman but she can be full of self doubt. Her group of friends build each other up, they help remind her of the woman she is now not the scared college girl she once was.
Nolan Banks was a college jock who had life easy and realized it. He is persistent and I couldn't help but love him. He was a sensitive soul who sees thru her barriers and it's beautiful when he gets thru. I absolutely loved them as a couple.
My Review
I liked the setup of this one...and all the details of the story.

Presley is a hard heroine to like at first. She's playing a dangerous game, because Nolan hurt her first, but god, I hated how much she could turn on and off that persona at the turn of a phrase. To her, this is a game and that makes it really hard to respect what she's doing, no matter how much she was hurt. And yes, she has her reasons, but that still didn't make it easy to read.

Because for all that we know Presley's side of what happened that night, in the book it's slowly retold via flashbacks throughout the story. But the thing is...even knowing how awful Nolan was that night, he seems like a really good guy now.

And in the midst of all the back and forth with Presley's game, there are tiny details about this story that made me fall in love with it...all the references to the romcom movies...Say Anything, How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days, etc. There's also the fact of what Presley has done with her life. She's built a huge publishing and media company with her friends. She's a massive success and so self-confident, except when it comes to Nolan. He's her weakness, because no matter how much he hurt her, she still truly likes him.

I liked them together whenever Presley lets her guard down. They are so smart and sassy together. Their relationship and banter is fun to read. And once the full story came out, they were amazing. Yes, there are so many things to work through, but I loved them. Presley's wounds are so deep though. She doesn't trust easily.

This was just a fun, entertaining book to read. It was filled with little gems that made the story fantastic, but at the center there was Presley and Nolan. Even who they were in college, there was an amazing connection...of their brains. I loved it.
